Workstation Requirements:
- Microsoft® Windows 98, NT, 2000, XP Professional, Vista
*(Not recommended for use with Microsoft Windows ME)
- 128 MB of RAM minimum, 256 MB or greater memory recommended
- 10GB of available hard-disk space
*(Requirements will increase based on volume of data entered)
- CD ROM drive
- Internet Access, high-speed preferred
Communications Software:
Network or Peer-To-Peer:
- Peer-to-peer networking eliminates the need for servers and allows computers to share resources as equals.
Arcline (2000) recommends only two workstations on a Peer-To-Peer network.
- The Arcline (2000) Software Systems can be installed on a dedicated server with more than two
workstations networked through Windows 2000 or 2003 Server software,
Windows NT 4.0 Server or Novell Netware.
- The Arcline (2000) Software Systems cannot be used over a VPN (Virtual Private Network).
- Wireless networks are not recommended due to bandwidth limitations.
