CrimsonLogic to Provide Arcline (2000) Inc Connectivity into US Automated Commercial Environment
Toronto, ON: March 30, 2006 - Leading IT solutions provider, CrimsonLogic, today announced that it has been selected by Arcline (2000) Inc to provide connectivity into the US Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) for their current trucking dispatch software customers. CrimsonLogic was the first Canadian organization to be accredited by the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to comply with ACE requirements.
ACE, which will become mandatory for the trucking community at all 91 border crossings in 2006, is designed to provide national processing and tracking and is intended to be a key element for trade enforcement and in preventing cargo from becoming tools of terrorism. It will require submission of highway carrier manifests one hour or 30 minutes (for FAST shipments) to CBP in advance of the arrival of the truck at the US border or face being turned away or fined.

"CrimsonLogic's ACE system will definitely add on to the confidence of our customers by cutting down delays whilst ensuring efficiency: we are confident that this will strengthen our leadership in dispatch management software solutions," says Michelle Dirracolo, President Arcline (2000) Inc.
